The fact the gardens were beautiful and the scenary was fantastic.
The showers and the delay with reception and checking out.
Not alot apart from it being close to the railway station.
The room was untidy and needed attention, food from the menus was poor in presentation, I had to by my own milk and the cleaning facilities for room service was somthing I could have done better my self, the quality and overall hotel was under par and I would not recomend it other customers. Most disappointing.
Nothing in particular
The door on the wardrobe would not shut and blocked the light from the window. I needed to go to bed by 10pm but this was not possible due to the noise from the music entertainment just below my room till 11pm. It took ages to get hot water through the tap about 5 minutes
very comfortable rooms and good breakfasts, staff polite and helpful would stay there again
The grounds at the hotel were very good
The food in the restarent was not up to the standed I would have liked
The veiw from our room window, also lovely veiw at breakfast in the conservatory
Evening meal ran out of bread for soup ( still had the butter on the table)
great position for climbing snowdonia
too hot - radiators in corridors could not be turned down and heat seeped into room
Location was superb for climbing snowdon. Easy enough to find
Decor a bit dated. We booked a double room on the day of our trip but when we arrived we had a twin room. To be fair this may not be the hotels fault - could be the booking process itself not making this clear
We had an executive room and this was comfortable and well furnished.
Service at breakfast on the bank holiday Monday was very poor. There was a queue to be seated, despite there being lots of tables free. All the buffet items had run out and we never got any toast at all. The wait for coffee was about 15minutes.
The location was great - convenient for the village, the Sherpa bus and one of the Snowdon routes.
The bowls and cups in the restaurant did not feel clean - as though the dishwashers were not performing to their optimum.
The location is good, and it is a nice, elegant Victorian Hotel. The breakfast was good and generally a friendly service throughout.
They could not authorise my credit/ bank card [Yorkshire Bank]. This is a new type of card, and they obviously have not got up to date card reader facilities. Dinner is only available to 8.45 and bar meals to 9 pm.This is not late enough for a location that is in a remote location.
Lovely grounds and gardens with nice bar. Location superb in relation to attractions.
Organisation of Service in bar & dining room very poor.
The bedroom with 4 poster bed and stunning views. All communal areas were clean and luxurious. Stunning mature gardens.
Breakfast service was apalling. A large group of very noisy guests at night/morning were not addressed by duty manager .
Position was excellent
The hotel is in need of serious attention everything in the room was loose on the wall, taps, plugs etc
staff were lovely, food was good, location was excellent.
banging pipes in room, think room was under smoking area as was very noisy in the evening.
